HOW to do VED analysis of drugs in pharmacy

Step 1 : List out the drugs in pharmacy

Step 2 : For each drug based on criticality mark it V for Vital, E for essential and D for desirable as describe bellow.

Vital (critical for life and patient care)

Essential (Critical but alternative acceptable)

Desirable (Low critical value)

Note: All “Emergency drug” comes under Vital category

Step 1 : enter the vital "V" in front of Vitals drug

Step 2 : Enter Essential "E" in front drug list comes under essential category

Step 3 : Enter desirable "D" in front of drug list comes under desirable category
