Employee Rights and Responsibilities as per NABH (HRM3c)




Employee Rights:

  1. Right to know about the nature of the job entrusted to an employee.
  2. Right to know about the rule and regulation of the Hospital.
  3. Right to know about the disciplinary proceeding of the hospital.
  4. Right to know about the grievance handling mechanism of the Hospital.
  5. Right to be protected from any kind of the harassment from any other employee.
  6. Right to know about periodic appraisal carried out by the organization.
  7. Right to receive remuneration for the services rendered as per the mutually agreed terms and conditions.
  8. Right to receive additional training when job responsibilities get changes or new equipment installed. 

Employee Responsibilities:

  1. To ensure that all patients/attenders/guest are provided with utmost personalized care.
  2. To adhere strictly to the policies, procedures and protocols of the organization.
  3. To perform the duties and responsibilities entrusted to the expected level of the performance.
  4. To maintain the decorum and discipline of the organization.
  5. To exhibit excellence in terms of the interpersonal relation and the team work with the colleagues.
  6. To contribute with practicable suggestions to improve the standards of the organization.
  7. To refrain from engaging in any form of employment or profession during the tenure if service in the organization.
